What We Do

Oak Tree Developmental Center is a pediatric therapy clinic offering occupational, physical, and speech and language therapy.  We provide therapeutic services within the clinic, home and school based environments. Our goal is to optimize each child’s function based upon their individual needs. We are a comprehensive group of child specialists who provide evaluation, consultation and intervention services as a multi-disciplinary team. In addition to individual therapy we offer a variety of therapeutic groups at our Chicago clinic.  The groups are designed to foster social development, reinforce new skills and insure that each child reaches his or her maximum potential within the group.

Oak Tree Developmental Center was created based upon a shared vision of partnering with families in order to provide a respectful and nurturing environment where children and families can blossom and support each other in their common experiences. It is our commitment to provide the highest quality pediatric intervention services for your child and family.  

Our teaching philosophy combines the principles of sensory integration theory, along with the knowledge of how children develop and learn across the five domains (gross motor, fine motor, cognition, language and social). Our approach is a holistic one that focuses on your child’s individual needs. Oak Tree’s team of highly qualified professionals work across disciplines and in a collaborative way to gain a more complete understanding of your child to provide the most effective intervention possible.   

We take a personal approach with each family. We consult with you during the initial evaluation, and continue to partner with you during the treatment process. We provide treatment strategies and home programming to ensure that optimal progress is achieved and therapy is most beneficial.
