Who should I call if I have questions about therapy or billing?

You can call Oak Tree Developmental Center at 312-642-4300 and ask to speak with Kathleen Stanton or Mary Lee.  You can also leave a voicemail message and we will return a call to you.  We will be happy to answer any of your questions.

Where should I park?

Oak Tree Developmental Center offers parking in the Americana Towers garage for $5.00 per day.  Complementary valet parking is available in the Americana Towers garage for 15 minutes while you pick-up or drop-off your child.  There is also metered street parking on Wells Street as well as non-metered parking on some of the side streets.  The side streets are not zoned until 6:00 pm at night so you are free to park on the side streets.

What should I do if my child is going to be absent?

Notification of vacations, in which two or more consecutive treatment sessions will be missed, should be made at least two weeks in advance.  If you know ahead of time that you need to cancel or change an appointment, please let your therapist know and she will attempt to reschedule your appointment.  If you need to cancel the day of your appointment please call the clinic as soon as possible.

What is the policy for arrival?

In order for your child to achieve maximum benefit from therapy services it is important that you arrive on time.  Upon arrival, please make yourself comfortable in the waiting room.  Your child’s therapist will come and greet you for your scheduled appointment.  If you will not be observing your child’s treatment or remaining in the waiting room, you must leave a phone number where you can be reached in case of an emergency.

What is the policy for departure?

Following therapy your child will be brought to the waiting room by his/her therapist. The therapist will assist your child in transitioning, provide a brief report on the treatment session, and answer any questions.  It is extremely important for your child to be picked up on time.  Please recognize that being late to pick up your child from therapy has several negative ramifications including being disruptive to your child, the next child scheduled, and the therapist.

Will you bill my insurance for me?

Oak Tree Developmental Center is in network for Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO and Blue Choice.  We will bill Blue Cross Blue Shield and any out of network insurance companies directly for services rendered.  You will be notified as to any co-pays, deductibles or remaining balances.  We will verify your therapy benefits upon initiation of therapy.  We encourage families to call and confirm their benefits for therapy services.
